  Chapter 1

“Guess who’s coming home today!” Maya squealed as she sat down at the lunch table. I put a finger in my ear, glaring at her.

“Please just tell us before you burst my eardrum.” Maya was always a big ball of energy, even if she didn’t have news to tell us she’d still be squealing about something else. She was so small but her voice packed a lot of power.

She slapped my shoulder, frowning. “Don’t be such a party pooper.”

“Blair not be a party pooper? I’d love to see that,” our friend Claire added.

I tossed one of my fries at her. “I’m always the life of the party.”

She popped it into her mouth, rolling her eyes. “Sure you are.”

“Anyway, back to my news. My brother is coming home from college!” Maya squealed again. I choked on the piece of fry I was eating. Maya frowned, patting me hard on the back. Her brother was coming home from college? Oh my days.

Let me tell you something about Maya’s brother. He was the hottest thing I’ve ever laid eyes on. The boy, or should I say man, was sculpted after a god. He had a body to die for, and the darkest eyes you’ve ever seen. The man was so sexy his name was literally Sin, almost like his parents knew he’d be blessed. He moved away four years ago to start college. Before he left, I had the hugest crush on him. He never paid me any attention though, only seeing me as Maya’s best friend.

“I thought he had a year left?” I asked her, not that I was keeping tabs on him or anything.

“Apparently he’s not as dumb as I thought and graduated early.”

“Wow, your brother is home now? I might have to come over more often.” Claire fanned herself dramatically.

This time Maya threw a fry at her. “Ew, that’s gross…he’s my brother.”

She shrugged. “So what? He’s not my brother.” She smirked.

She tossed another fry at her. “So, he’s off limits.”

Claire pouted. “You’re no fun.” The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch. Since it was my senior year and I had most of my credits, my last class was next. Math…the class I hated the most.

“Well, I’ll see you guys later.” I grabbed my lunch tray, got up from the bench, and made my way to the trashcan.

“Blair, wait! Are you still coming over to study later?” Maya was also a senior, but she was struggling with certain subjects, like English, so I agreed to help tutor her after school most days.

“Of course I am. What time?” I dumped my stuff in the trash, turning to face her.

“Not the usual time, a little later, around nine?” She walked past me to dump her tray.

“Sure, I’ll just stay the night since it’s Friday. That cool?” We made our way out of the cafeteria.

“Yeah, I know my parents won’t mind. They love you.” I nodded my head, agreeing with her. It’s true, they did. Every time I came over they joked that I should’ve been their daughter. We split ways as I made it to the math room. I couldn’t wait for this class to be over.

  ***

“Mom, I’m home!” I winced as the front door slammed behind me. God, I hope she didn’t hear that.

“I’m in the kitchen! And watch how you close doors around here!” she yelled out.

I walked in the kitchen to see her washing the dishes. “Hey, is it cool if I stay over at Maya’s tonight?” I asked, taking a seat in one of the kitchen chairs.

“Since when do you ask for permission?” She faced me, raising an eyebrow.

I smiled at her. “Since I decided to be a responsible daughter.” She laughed, going back to the dishes.

“Like that’ll ever happen,” she mumbled.

I gasped, placing a hand to my chest. “You wound me with your words, woman.” She laughed some more. I got up from the chair and made my way to my room. I flopped on my bed, grabbing the remote from my bedside table. Guess I’ll just watch some Office. It was only four o’clock, so I had nothing but time before I had to head over to Maya’s. I yawned as I got comfortable. Three episodes in and I was out like a light.

  ***

Ring Ring Ring— “Hello?” I yawned into the phone as I answered it.

“Get your lazy ass up! You’re supposed to be coming over!” Maya yelled into the phone. I looked over at my digital clock to see it was 9:10.

“Oh shit. Sorry, babe, I’m on my way.” I hung the phone up quickly. Grabbing my backpack, I shoved a change of clothes into it along with my English book. I ran down the steps shouting a goodbye to my mom as I closed the door. Lucky for me Maya only lived five blocks away. I jumped in my car, starting it up.

  ***

“I can’t believe you’ve been sleeping this whole time,” were the first words I heard when she opened the door.

“Well, you wouldn’t have to worry about me falling asleep if you didn’t invite me over during booty call hour.” I glared at her. She rolled her eyes, closing the door behind me.

“Who is that, Maya?” a deep, husky voice called out from the living room. Oh god, his voice had gotten so much deeper since I last heard it. I could feel my body react. Who knew a voice could have so much effect on a person? I froze as I heard footsteps coming our way.

“That would be none of your business,” Maya replied, although it was too late since he was now standing in front of us. My eyes moved from Maya to Sin. They widened considerably when they landed on him. Hot damn, he’s even sexier than when he left. My eyes scanned him from head to toe, I could see the muscles through the thin black shirt he was wearing.

“Is that Blair?” I was pleased to say his eyes scanned my body before landing on my face. I blushed.

“It’s me, in the flesh.” I smiled at him, trying not to let my eyes roam again. A very hard task.

“Wow, you’ve grown.” He reached out to pull me in for a hug. I’m not the only person who had grown, I thought, feeling his abs against my chest. I wanted to run my hands all over them. I never wanted a hug to last so long in my life. Sadly though he pulled away, leaving me with the loss of contact and warmth.

  “I tried.” I shrugged.

He smirked at me. “Still short th
ough.” He laughed, walking away from us and back to the living room.

“Ignore him, let’s go upstairs.” I nodded, following Maya up the steps. I couldn’t help but glance over the banister at Sin as we made our way up. He was spread out on the couch watching football. God, I would kill to be that couch right now.

We made it to Maya’s room and I cringed at how girly she was. The whole room was pink, and the bed was covered in pink fluffy pillows. “We should just put on our pajamas now.” She suggested, digging through her dresser.

I sat my bag on her bed, taking out my shorts and tank top I packed for sleepwear. I changed in her room as she changed in the bathroom. Once I was done, I flopped down on her bed and pulled out my English book. Maya joined me a few seconds later, lying on the end of the bed.

“Did you hear what happened to Rosalie during science?” The rest of the night was us doing homework, gossiping about school, and watching Gossip Girl until we fell asleep.

  ***

I stumbled out of bed frowning at the dryness in my throat. I was dying for some water. I looked at the bed side table seeing it was three a.m. I always got thirsty during the middle of the night, I just forgot to have a glass of water with me this time. Slipping on a pair of Maya’s fluffy night shoes I made my way to the door. My eyes were still semi closed as I stumbled towards the stairs. My right foot caught on my left foot, my eyes widened as the stairs got closer to my face. Oh my gosh!

Before I could tumble down a flight of stairs, my body was pressed hard against the hallway wall. “Be careful.” Sin whispered, mouth close to my ear. He had one hand on my hip and the other on the wall next to my head. My body hummed in approval at the close contact. Where did he come from? What was he doing up?

“Sorry,” I thought he would release me, but he didn’t. Instead, he pressed the lower half of his body against me. Wedging his knee between my legs.

“Do you have any idea what would’ve happened if I wasn’t here?” His breath fanned across my cheek. His hand traveled up my arm, cupping my neck. “You could’ve broken your neck,” Then back down my arm, “or your arm,” Then finally rested on my hip, “or your hip.” Since I was wearing a tank top it had risen slightly since my near death experience. His hand was resting on my bare skin, giving me goosebumps.

“I-I know.” What was he doing to me? He stared into my eyes, and it might have been my imagination, but it seemed like he was leaning in. Was he leaning in? Was Sin going to kiss me?

“Just be careful.” As quickly as he showed up he was now gone, leaving me breathless against the wall. Oh my. I continued my venture to the kitchen. I definitely need water to cool down now.

  Chapter 2

I yawned, rolling over as the sun beamed on my face from the window. Why did I always pick the left side of the bed? I opened one eye to peek over at Maya…she was still sleeping. She always slept in longer than me. I stretched as I sat up, getting ready to do my morning routine. Pee, brush teeth, then find food. I slipped out of bed, rubbing my eyes as I made my way to the bathroom. The house was quiet, as it always was when I stayed over. Maya’s whole family liked to sleep in.

The bathroom door was closed when I approached it, but I didn’t think much of it. I put my hand on the handle, yanking it open to see the most beautiful sight of my life. Sin was standing at the sink, stark naked and shaving his face. From the angle I was standing I was able to see everything, and I mean everything. From his broad shoulders to the well-defined eight pack resting on his belly. I knew he was packing heat under that shirt. There was a drip of water rolling down the middle of his body, I followed that drop all the way down to see—holy shit! He was hung like a bull, one of the biggest I’ve ever seen, and I’ve watched a lot of porn in my time here on earth. His manhood stood long and proud between his legs, at least eight inches of steel meat. My eyes traveled along his length, it curved slightly, showing the veins straining against it. From here I could tell he was hard, morning wood maybe?

The first thought that crossed my mind was, would it be able to fit in me? Would it be able to fit in anyone? I could feel the pool of heat gathering between my legs.

He cleared his throat, making me realize I’ve been staring open mouthed at his penis for the last few seconds. My cheeks turned bright red as I quickly slammed the door shut, then pulled it open again. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to barge in! I didn’t know anyone was in here. I promise I usually knock first,” I rambled.

He stared at me with an amused look on his face. “Close the door, Blaire.”

“Right, sorry!” I took one last peek at him before closing the door. I speed walked down the hall, trying to get the image out of my head. Try as I might though, I was sure that wasn’t leaving my head all day, maybe all week. Hell, maybe even a month.

“Where’s the fire?” Maya raised an eyebrow at me as she sat up in bed.

“Huh?” It seemed my brain was no longer working. Well, it was working; it was just only processing one thing. Dick dick dick dick.

  “Where are you coming from?”

“Oh, nowhere. I went to the bathroom, but someone was in it.” I shrugged. Someone was definitely in it.

“Probably Sin. He’s the only one in our family who wakes up early.” She couldn’t have told me this yesterday? Not that I regret what I’d just seen, but I’ll never be able to look him in the eyes again.

“Yeah, maybe.” I sat down on her bed, trying to get my thoughts together. Relax, Blair, it was just a penis, no reason to start fangirling over him again. But god why did he have to be so blessed?

“So, what do you want to do today?” she asked. She got up from the bed and went over to her closet.

I thought about the things I needed to do. I was in need of new clothes. “Let’s go to the mall.”

She squealed in delight. “I was hoping you’d say that!” I rolled my eyes, looking for my bag to get my clothes out. I decided it was safer to get dressed in the bedroom than the bathroom. Since I was planning to bum the whole day I only packed sweatpants and a black crop top. “Really? Sweatpants?” She stared disapprovingly at my attire. I stuck my tongue out at her.

“Don’t hate me ‘cause I’m beautiful.” I flipped my hair over my shoulder.

She scoffed at me. “If only you had something to hate on.” I flipped her the bird.

Once we were both fully dressed, we headed downstairs to get some breakfast. Maya’s parents were still sleeping and I was hoping to the gods that Sin wasn’t down there.

  ***

“Good morning, little sis.” So much for my prayers being answered. Sin greeted Maya the moment we turned the corner. I avoided eye contact, making my way to a chair. I could still feel his stare burning a hole in the side of my head. He was standing at the stove making pancakes. He’s hot and can cook? He’s the whole package with a big package.

“You’re only six years older than me, calm down.” She rolled her eyes, taking a seat next to me.

“You girls hungry?” He placed two plates in front of us. I was hungry, for both him and the food. I finally looked up when he turned back to the stove. He wasn’t wearing a shirt. I watched as his back muscles flexed when he flipped a pancake. I must’ve been staring too hard ‘cause next thing I knew I felt an elbow in my side.

“Ow, what the fuck?” I glared at Maya. She glared back at me. Since when was it a crime to check a guy out? Sin headed towards us again with two big stacks of pancakes. He slid three on Maya’s plate and three on mine. I mumbled a quick thanks before digging in.

“You got any plans today?” Maya made small talk with him.

He grabbed a plate of pancakes for himself, sitting across from me. “Meeting up with some of my old high school buddies.” He was acting like nothing ever happened. Like I didn’t see him naked two hours ago. Maybe it was no big deal to him, maybe he was used to girls seeing him naked. I wouldn’t be surprised.

“And what are you guys going to do?” she asked. I wonder how long he’s been back? He pro
bably had a lot of people to catch up with, maybe even old flings.

“Shoot some hoops.” I zoned out during the rest of their conversation. I finished off my pancakes as they continued their small talk. I got up from my seat, going to the sink to wash off my plate. The syrup was being stubborn and not wanting to come off. Faintly I heard the sound of chairs moving but I was too focused on the task at hand. I was sponging the plate down when I felt a body press up against me from behind. A hard, solid male body. My breath hitched. “Mind washing mine too?” His minty breath fanned across my face as he whispered in my ear.

I tried to steady my breathing before answering, “Just place it in the sink.” My voice came out small and timid-like. He reached around me to put his plate in the sink, pressing more into my back. I could feel those delicious abs resting against me. Also, the belt buckle from his pants was pressing into my ass, at least I think it was his belt. Was he trying to give me a heart attack?

“Thanks, Blaire.” As quickly as he appeared behind me, he disappeared after placing his plate down. I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding.

“Are you almost done, Blair? I’m ready to go.” Maya’s voice sounded far away. I guessed she moved to the living room. No wonder she made no comment about how close Sin was to me.

“Yeah, just a second.” I finished off the dish, drying my hand off on the nearby towel.

“Bye, Sin, we’re leaving!” Maya called out, walking out the door. There was no response.

  ***

I groaned as Maya dragged me into Victoria’s Secret. “Why are we going in here? They’re so expensive,” I complained.

“You got to spend money to look sexy, honey,” she replied.
